Life Aquatika

Life Aquatika

“Life Aquatika” is an underwater fantasy of aquatic life through the seasons.   I love the work of the abstract expressionist Wolf Kahn and I used a colour palette from one of his paintings which was warm and soft and had yellow as a dominant colour. Water can be mysterious and foreboding, but these colours help evoke a garden of wonders and our gaze gets lost looking for meaning and treasures among the multitude of shapes below the surface.
