You and Me

“You and Me” is an abstract painting evoking the interplay of lily pads and water. It’s as if one could be standing in the bottom of the lake with the lily pads at eye level and take a picture that shows what goes on above and below the water. Lily pads don’t float aimlessly. They are tied to a plant rooted at the bottom of the lake. And all kinds of things swim by underneath which are evoked by the streaks of yellow and teal colour. It also looks to me like these two lily pads are meeting and having an intimate conversation.
